Los Angeles Clippers shooting guard Lou Williams says a lot of people got superstar Kawhi Leonard “messed up.”

Williams claims Leonard is funny as hell and talks way more than he thought he did.

Leonard is arguably the quietest superstar in NBA history. The three-time All-Star, two-time Defensive Player of the Year and two-time Finals MVP just wants to play basketball and win as much as possible. He doesn’t care about the fame or media hoopla which comes with being a global star.

However, when he’s off the court, Kawhi likes to go fishing, golfing and hang out with his kids. Leonard does talk in the huddle and locker room. He just doesn’t do much of that with the media.

For the first time in franchise history, the Clippers are legitimate title contenders with Paul George and Leonard in the mix. It’s a fun time to be a Clippers fan. LA is 10-5 on the season after defeating the Boston Celtics on Wednesday.

As usual, Williams has been lethal off the bench this season. He’s averaging 22.5 points while shooting 42.1 percent from the field and 32.9 percent from beyond the arc.

Leonard, meanwhile, is putting up 25.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 5.7 assists. The two-time Finals MVP is shooting 43.2 percent overall and 85.1 percent from the charity stripe.
