After seeing Warriors All-Star Kevin Durant go down with an injury in Monday's NBA Finals Game 5, LA Clippers forward Montrezl Harrell decided to send out a tweet to wish him well. Everything seemed fine … until one fan made a joke out of Harrell's message for Durant.

In his message, Harrell asked God to walk with Durant through his recovery process. For whatever reason, though, the fan made a mockery of the well-wishes, which resulted in a rather angry response from Harrell:

Although the Clippers were defeated by the Warriors in the first round of this year's playoffs, it's clear that he was concerned about Durant's injury.

No one knew if Durant would be able to play in Monday's Game 5 matchup, as he was still recovering from a calf injury he sustained in the Western Conference Semifinals. Despite that fact, he was ultimately given the green light to participate without a minutes restriction.

With just under 10 minutes remaining in the second quarter, Durant brought the ball across the timeline. After making his way around a quick screen at the 3-point line, he began to make a move. However, as he planted his right foot, it gave way. The pain he felt sent him to the floor immediately.

After a strange smattering of cheers from the fans inside Scotiabank Arena, Durant was helped off the court for further evaluation. It was later confirmed that he had suffered an Achilles injury:

At this point, it's hard to judge how long Durant will be out of commission. An Achilles injury could take several months or even a year to rehabilitate. Hopefully, he'll make a full recovery and be back in action sooner rather than later.
