When it comes to coaching against the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers bench boss Tyronn Lue is invincible. After he steered his team to another win over the Purple & Gold Tuesday night, 133-115, Lue has now reached double-digit wins as the Clippers' head coach against zero losses.

“Tyronn Lue is now 10-0 against the Lakers as the Clippers' head coach. Lue is the 1st head coach to begin his tenure with a team by winning his first 10 games against the Lakers,” per Elias Sports (h/t ESPN Stats & Info).

You will have to walk all the way back to 2020 to check out the last time the Clippers suffered a loss at the hands of the Lakers. Stretched over the last 20 meetings of these LA rivals, the Clippers have a 15-5 record versus the Lakers, dating back to 2017.

The Clippers used to be a laughingstock in the NBA, but that is clearly no longer the case, with the franchise turning into a perennial playoff contender over the last several years.

Paul George and Kawhi Leonard punished the Lakers in the Clippers' most recent win against the Purple & Gold, scoring 27 and 25 points respectively. Lue and his team were able to weather the 46-point explosion of LeBron James in large part because of an efficient offense. The Clippers shot 60.7 percent from the field and knocked down 19 of their 38 attempts from behind the arc.

The Clippers have now won the first three meetings with the Lakers this season. They can sweep Los Angeles in the regular season with another win on Apr. 5.
