Former NBA big man turned insider Kendrick Perkins says Kawhi Leonard will meet with the Los Angeles Clippers Monday night or Tuesday evening.

The Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers and Toronto Raptors are the three teams Leonard is meeting with.

All season long, the Clippers were believed to be the favorites to sign Leonard, who is from California. But there is a prevailing thought Leonard doesn't want to be the only star on his team, which is why some believe the Lakers might now be the new favorites to land Kawhi since they have LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

The Clippers don't have any All-Stars on their team. The Raptors already showed Leonard they can build a championship contender around him. Toronto has Kyle Lowry, Marc Gasol and an up-and-coming star in Pascal Siakam. The Raptors can also offer Leonard the most money in free agency and a fifth year on his deal.

Clippers owner Steve Ballmer, general manager Michael Winger, president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank and head coach Doc Rivers probably have a great presentation prepared for Leonard. Guard Patrick Beverley, who re-signed with the club on Sunday, is expected to be part of the meeting as well.

All of Clipper Nation is hoping the team lands Leonard, otherwise creating those two max slots in the Tobias Harris trade will be wasted.
