Following a slow start to the 2018 season, the Indianapolis Colts have picked things up over the last month with a four-game winning streak.

Much of their success has been behind the play of star quarterback Andrew Luck, who has been producing at an elite level once again. According to Pro Football Focus, Luck has been especially effective against the blitz this year, which has been a major key to his success on the field.

Luck has been the driving force for the Colts' offense this season. He has continued to improve under center with his play. He has been particularly efficient during the winning streak, as he has thrown 13 touchdown passes to one interception, which has pushed him to rank second in the league with 29 touchdown passes.

Luck has thrown multiple touchdown passes in a game in every matchup but one, while recording at least three touchdown passes in each of the last seven games played.

What has been equally as impressive has been his improved efficiency throwing the ball, currently holding a 67.3 percent completion rate while holding a career-best 101.8 passer rating. Luck is currently projected to rack up 4,430 passing yards with 46 touchdown passes to 14 interceptions.

He has taken his game to the next level. Luck's play has been the reason for the Colts' surge up the rankings that has pushed them into the thick of the playoff picture in the Wild Card spot that is currently a five-way tie for the final position heading into Week 12 action. The Colts are currently fifth in the league with 29.8 points per contest, along with being 10th in passing.

The 29-year-old will continue to be depended on as the driving force offensively, especially this week against the Miami Dolphins, who rank 16th against the pass defensively.
