The college football season is almost here, believe it or not. After a strange 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 2021 should be better. However, COVID is still there and will unfortunately play a factor once again. Speaking of which, Washington State Cougars head coach Nick Rolovich has been under hot water for his refusal to get the vaccination.
Rolovich's comments were, well, interesting.

Of course, Rolovich made headlines when he announced he wouldn't attend Pac-12 media days because he wasn't vaccinated, and that move created a world of backlash as well.
Here's the statement from the Cougars head coach.

The Cougars head coach added on Tuesday that he urged everybody to get vaccinated, although he himself has decided not to receive the vaccine. What is going on? Oh, and he did so via Zoom because the conference required players and coaches to be vaccinated in order to attend.
#WashingtonState team is roughly 75% vaccinated or being fully vaccinated. "I urge everyone to consider being vaccinated," Nick Rolovich says.
This is weird.

The situation regarding Nick Rolovich continues to get confusing and complicated. It isn't a good look for Rolovich or for Washington State, and one has to consider how much longer he remains in charge if he continues to be at the forefront of criticism such as this one.
The college football season is only a few weeks away and surely Rolovich isn't done making comments on the vaccine.
