The NFC East has been a disaster this season, but it will crown a division championship this weekend. Through magic, there is a chance that after all the lows this season, the Dallas Cowboys can win it and advance to the playoffs.

On the daily Locked On Cowboys podcast, Marcus Mosher and Patricia Traina discussed the upcoming Week 17 matchup between the Giants and Cowboys. The big topic was revolving around how the Cowboys turned things around this season.

Mosher: First of all, I think it is a combination of finally having a combination of offensive linemen who have played together for a while and that has provided a little bit of extra protection. I think that the defense has really helped a lot with the offense because, you know, the defense before was really a black hole of where yards go in and dreams go and do not come out. It has been a swirling whirlpool that was pulling the offense with it and as the last few weeks have molded the Cowboys, this defense has suddenly been able to get turnovers and get good field position for this Cowboys offense.

The offense has been able to score some easy points off of that and that has really helped with the Cowboys success. They have, at different points, struggled to consistently produce but as of these last few weeks, Dalton has been able to find a rhythm with these wide receivers that he had not had previously. They have been able to figure out a way to get by with pass protection and maybe that changes this week with the Giants but the last few weeks, they have been able to find time for Andy Dalton in the pocket.
