The Dallas Cowboys are set to take on their toughest opponent so far this season. Thursday night they'll be hosting a 10-1 New Orleans Saints team that is averaging a mind-boggling 37.2 points per game.

The Saints' offense is simply unstoppable. They've demolished the two previous NFC representatives in the Super Bowl and they set their sights on doing the same against the Cowboys.

Their attack is led by 18-year veteran Drew Brees, who hasn't shown signs of slowing down despite nearing his 40th birthday this January.

The Saints are currently one of the most feared teams in the 2018 season, and beating them Thursday could certainly boost the Cowboys' confidence.

It would be a major achievement for them to record an upset against the seemingly invincible Saints.

Newly acquired wide receiver Amari Cooper shared his thoughts about their upcoming assignment, as per  Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News.

“Why not look at it that way?” Cooper asked. “They're one of the best teams in the league. So if we can beat them, then that says a lot about us.”

Cooper came to Dallas from the Oakland Raiders as an addition to their receiving corps. The Cowboys have won three of their four games since he joined the team.

On Thanksgiving, Cooper exploded for eight catches and 180 yards to beat the Washington Redskins by a final score of 31-23.

The Cowboys are now in the playoff picture with a 6-5 record. They look to improve their chances for a postseason berth with another big win against New Orleans.
