The Dallas Cowboys crushed the Washington Redskins in their Week 2 matchup, finishing the game with a comfortable 31-21 final score. After the game, Cowboys QB Dak Prescott was asked about Josh Norman's pre-game comments about him.

The media took note of the words the seasoned corner used ahead of their game. While he was mainly praising the O-line, many saw this as a veiled shot at Prescott.

“You stand back there in the pocket all day and go through your first, second and third reads and come back to your first one, OK, cool. Anybody can do that. At the end of the day, he’s been playing well. As you can see, he’s evolved. He’s growing in the system. He’s just taking his keys and picking his targets and throwing the ball on time.”

When asked about those comments, Prescott didn't mince his words at all during the post-game presser.

“Yeah, I heard it, but I am not going to allow him be a motivation to me,” Prescott said after Sunday’s game per Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk. “I have enough things that motivate me and keep me going. What someone says good or bad about me isn’t the case, especially when he is not on this team.”

Norman immediately called out the media for the way they “switched around” the narrative and pit them against each other.

Prescott was unstoppable at FedExField. He finished with 269 passing yards and 3 TDs for a superb 123.5 QB rating. Meanwhile, Norman finished the game with four tackles and a pass deflection.
