The Dallas Cowboys have had their fair share of franchise quarterbacks over the years and current quarterback Dak Prescott has been fantastic in his young career. Former quarterback Tony Romo was great for the Cowboys as well and the comparison in terms of late game success is very similar between the two quarterbacks.

Of course, Prescott has nowhere near the amount of experience that Romo had, but the trends are there for comparison. Fortunately for both quarterbacks, they have had a top tier offensive line to work with for many seasons. These statistics come down to these two players' ability to perform well in clutch situations.

Although neither player has had much success in the postseason, they have put together fantastic regular seasons and show up in big time situations. Even with Prescott's lack of games in comparison to Romo, it's obvious that his numbers are extremely impressive late in games. Romo was known for his poise and ability to make smart plays when the game was on the line.

If Prescott learned anything in his time with Romo, it appears that it's the ability to slow the game down and make the right decisions with the game on the line.

Prescott's lack of interceptions prove this notion considering his touchdown totals as well as his completion totals are extremely solid. Despite Prescott's disappointing sophomore season, it's clear that his rookie season and third year in the league have provided promise for years to come.
