Jerry Jones has been very clear on his expectations for his Dallas Cowboys players in terms of the National Anthem. He expects that all of his players are standing and none of them are protesting in any way.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott seems to be on the same page as his owner, confirming such thoughts on Friday while claiming the next step is to actually take action instead of protesting on the football field. Prescott said that football means so much to so many people and protesting takes away from the game.

So when you bring such a controversy to the stadium, to the field, to the game, it takes away . . . from that. It takes away from the joy and the love that football brings a lot of people.
Prescott also said in his interview that the initial point of the protests was to raise awareness and he thinks it has done that. He points out that people are still talking about the social injustices which means that it is clearly working.
Not everyone probably agrees in the NFL with Prescott's statements, but Jones is probably very happy to hear his quarterback make these comments.
