Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence has established himself as one of the NFL's premier edge rushers. Unfortunately, he has not had much success when it comes to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Lawrence and the Cowboys recently made headlines with their blockbuster, five-year deal worth over $100 million. Twitter user @Trilladelphian used the news as a reminder that he has not registered a sack against the Eagles:

Lawrence has registered 34.0 sacks since being taken in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. The bulk of his production has come over the last two seasons courtesy of back-to-back double-digit sack campaigns. The fact that not one of them came against a divisional rival is undoubtedly surprising.

Lawrence has only registered five quarterback hits in nine career games against the Eagles. The statistic certainly did not go unnoticed.

The post made its way onto the timeline of right tackle Lane Johnson and he wasted no time in reminding his follower's of Lawrence's lack of success against Philadelphia. To be fair, Johnson is no slouch and has certainly played his part in helping to contain the two-time Pro Bowler.

Of course, it helps that he is a two-time Pro Bowler himself as well as earning first-team All-Pro honors in 2017.

Johnson's reminder will only help to further fuel the rivalry between two of the more high-powered teams in the NFC East. Although the Eagles have found a way to slow Lawrence, the Cowboys still ultimately came back out on top with their second division title in three years.

Philadelphia will be looking to do the same come next season.
