After being limited over the past few weeks, Dallas Cowboys star RB Ezekiel Elliot gets another crucial knee injury update. Initially, the Cowboys were being extra cautious with the 26-year old as Elliot continues to deal with a recurring knee issue. But now, it seems that all signs are pointing that the three-time Pro Bowler might be ready to suit up again for Week 13.

According to NFL's Ian Rapoport, Zeke was a full participant in their last training session ahead of their Thursday night match against the New Orleans Saints and it appears that Elliot will be ready to play through his injury:

Elliot was limited in the Cowboys' Thanksgiving game against the Las Vegas Raiders as he nursed his right knee injury. The former First-Team All-Pro was held to just nine carries for a total of 25 yards and a 1-yard TD as the Cowboys suffered their first pair of back-to-back losses this season.

Initial reports suggested that the team was going to give their RB some time to try and fully heal from his injury but the two-time rushing yards leader isn't taking any time off. Zeke has been playing down his knee injury, saying that it's just a ‘temporary pain‘ he's been trying to deal with. And with the Cowboys holding to a precarious lead at the top of the NFC East Division, it's not at all surprising that Elliot wants to go all out and help his team get back to playoff contention this season.
