Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin is almost always fired up. During the Cowboys' completely dominant 43-3 win over the Atlanta Falcons, he was fired up with anger towards Dak Prescott.

The Cowboys' quarterback took a big hit on a rushing touchdown when Dallas was already up by 33. Irvin wasn't a fan of Prescott sacrificing his body in that situation and took to Twitter to address it.

Irvin raises a clear and understandable point. In a game already decided, there's no reason for the quarterback to take a big hit. This is especially the case considering Prescott got injured last year and the Cowboys' playoff chances were sunk after he went down. Although Prescott wasn't hurt on the play, it would have been smarter to pull up and avoid an unnecessary injury.

In the end, it didn't matter as Prescott was totally fine afterward. Backup quarterback Cooper Rush played in the fourth quarter with the game already out of reach. Ultimately, Irvin kind of got what he wanted with Prescott's health being prioritized and the Cowboys winning big.

Prescott finished the game with 296 yards through the air and a pair of passing touchdowns. CeeDee Lamb made history and caught six passes for 94 yards and two touchdowns. Dallas' defense allowed a single-digit score for the first time this season. The Cowboys extended their lead on the NFC East as they face the Kansas City Chiefs next Sunday.
