Dallas running back Tony Pollard danced his way through the 49ers' defensive line Sunday, on the way to 40-yard touchdown run. Filling in for the injured Ezekiel Elliot, Pollard has made sure Cowboys' fans haven't missed Zeke for a moment, accumulating two touchdowns and over 130 rushing yards on the day.

Watch Pollard's work of art for yourself:

Operating in what has been a lackluster year for the Dallas club, the development of Pollard into a potential offensive weapon, could be one of the few bright spots for the Cowboys this season. Drafted by Jerry Jones and company last year in the fourth round of the NFL draft,  he accrued just over 400 rushing yards in his rookie campaign, though he was limited to 86 touches on the season, as Elliot was slotted into the rotation ahead of him.

Missing the first game of his career due to a lingering calf injury, the well paid Elliot has had a disappointing year thus far, averaging a meagre 3.9 yards per carry. While he is likely to retain his starting spot with the club, due to his oversized contract, Pollard's continued production could provide alternative options for the Cowboys.

Paced by the backup running back, Dallas held off a late rally by San Francisco and earned only their fourth win of the season, 41-33. Regardless of who is starting, Cowboys enthusiasts will almost certainly take the result.

The Cowboys are trying to catch the Washington Football Team for first place in the NFC East. The Cowboys do not play Washington again this season. They got swept, which means that even if they tie Washington in the standings, they would lose the tiebreaker. Dallas needs two wins and two Washington losses to have a realistic chance of claiming the division title and a playoff home game.
