The National Basketball Association is halting regular-season play this weekend for the annual NBA All-Star Game. As always there are some crazy prop bets you can make. It will be Team LeBron versus Team Durant, however, KD won't be participating in the game due to an injury.

As was the case last year, the NBA All-Star Game's Elam Ending will be used with a target score of 24 points more than the leading team's or both teams' score in honor of Kobe Bryant.

Here are some of the bets you can make ahead of Sunday's NBA All-Star Game.

NBA All-Star Game:

Who Will Score The First Basket?

Player:Odds:
Joel Embiid+550
Giannis Antetokounmpo+600
Kyrie Irving+650
Kawhi Leonard+700
LeBron James+750
Stephen Curry+750
Bradley Beal+900
Luke Doncic +900
Nikola Jokic+1000
Jayson Tatum+1000

Betting on the first basket is always a bit of a challenge, but when you look at the 10 players that will be on the court, they are all superstars. Embiid is leading the way in this prop bet at +550, but it's Giannis' that I think poses the best chance at getting the first basket. At +600 he won't land you a lot of money, but there is some value in other players like Bradley Beal and Luka Doncic at +900.

Beal and Doncic at +900 seem like the way to go because in a game like this it's really a coin flip as to who will score the first basket, so why not go with two lethal scorers with good odds.

Who will win the NBA All-Star MVP?

Player:Odds:
LeBron James+500
Giannis Antetokounmpo+550
Kyrie Irving+750
Stephen Curry+750
Luke Doncic+800
Bradley Beal+900
Damian Lillard+900
James Harden+1000
Joel Embiid+1000
Kawhi Leonard+1600
Jayson Tatum+2200
Nikola Jokic+2200
Zion Williamson+3300
Ben Simmons+3500
Donovan Mitchell+4000
Paul George+4000
Zach LaVine+4000
Chris Paul+6600
Mike Conley+6600
Jaylen Brown+8000
Julius Randle+8000
Domantas Sabonis+10000
Nikola Vucevic+10000
Rudy Gobert+10000

When you look at the last three years, the NBA All-Star MVP has gone to one of the top starting players with Kawhi Leonard taking home the game's honors last year. Leonard finished with a game-high 30 points.

With that being known, you can eliminate the bottom half of the oddsboard and focus on the top players. Giannis has never won the All-Star MVP and it could be his year. At +550 odds he isn't going to rake in a ton of money but he is a strong contender with the second-best odds.

The other player that I would focus on is Luka Doncic. Doncic is a triple-double machine and seeing that this is his first year as a starter he could be in line for some bigger minutes. Last year, Doncic finished with just eight points in 18 minutes, expect both the number of minutes and points he puts up to go up substantially.
