Damian Lillard is known to not being shy in letting his thoughts known and firing back at his critics on Twitter. Just recently he proved that once again and took exception to a shot made by Fox Sports' Chris Broussard towards him.

With the Portland Trail Blazers being included in the Paul George rumor mill, the often-embattled sports analyst was quoted in a tweet with a message to the Indiana Pacers small forward to about possibly joining the Los Angeles Lakers while also taking a shot at Lillard.

That did not sit well with the 26-year-old Weber State product, who has been named an All-Star twice in his career, but was snubbed this season despite putting up career numbers. He also led the Blazers to the playoffs in four straight seasons, reaching the conference semifinals twice in that span. He responded to Broussard's comments on Twitter.

Lillard definitely has a strong case having been a main reason Portland has made the postseason. The results may not be what they desired, but competing in the tough Western Conference considering the competition is an achievement on it's own.

Should their front office be successful in adding a few more key players this summer, and maybe even George, they will instantly become a legitimate contender and could boost Lillard's All-Star bid each year.
