DeMar DeRozan‘s hard work on the court during his time with the Raptors has certainly paid off. After successfully becoming a franchise leader and pushing the Raptors to their first Eastern Conference Finals, his presence is definitely valued and imperative to the Raptors' core.

“We are delighted that after seven seasons, DeMar wanted to remain in Toronto to help us continue to build a championship program,” said Raptors President and General Manager Masai Ujiri. “He has been a foundation for our franchise, a leader who exemplifies the culture we are developing and a key contributor in our success.”

DeRozan seems just as eager to make a committed return to the franchise. He has been with this team fighting their way to make three consecutive playoff appearances over the past three season, so the chance at an NBA titles seems obtainable.

With talented minds like Dwane Casey back on board (even predicting greatness to follow soon), the Raptors could find themselves to be quite the powerhouse eastern conference team. They have good momentum moving forward with everyone in the mix showing their Raptor pride.
