Chicago Bulls rookie Denzel Valentine left Monday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks with a left sprained ankle. He played 11 minutes in the 93-91 preseason loss.

The Michigan State product was disappointed with the injury so early in his career.

The injury was not deemed serious and could only keep him out a game or two.

In Valentine's short stint on the court, he totalled four points on 2-of-5 shooting while dishing out two assists and grabbing one rebound. The forward drew praise from several local reporters.
