It's hard not to love Dirk Nowitzki and his sense of humor.
The light-hearted, fun-loving Mavericks star took criticism the best way possible, with a smile on his face and some wit of his own.
ESPN's Kevin Pelton recently profiled the 18-year veteran, saying: “He runs like he's stuck in cement, an issue in transition defense, defending fellow stretch-bigs and against the pick-and-roll.”
The German international was true to his self-deprecating ways, tweeting:
Ha. Spot on. Only problem is I ran like that my whole career…. https://t.co/QoG4yHjvET

It used to be quick sand. Now it's full on dry cement…. https://t.co/QoG4yHjvET

In a world of Twitter feuds where athletes follow and unfollow sports writers for the things they write or say on TV, the 7-footer didn't just take the high road, he took the elevator.
Don't ever change, Mr. Nowitzki.
