Check out our Stewart (Dionysus) Guide to get yourself a headstart when the Esper debuts in Patch 3.0.2 this Tuesday!

Stewart (Dionysus) is Dislyte’s newest fighter for patch 3.0.2, who has the ability to pummel and control specific targets at once. He mostly deals single-target damage, but makes up for it by inflicting Sleep with all of his abilities. If you want to grow and build this one-of-a-kind fighter, this is the guide for you.

Stewart (Dionysus) Guide – Abilities Overview

Stewart’s first ability is Down Your Cups. This ability deals damage to one target, and has a chance to inflict Sleep. It’s a quick tool for immobilizing certain enemies, though you want to have a decent amount of ACC to make the proc a lot more consistent.

Stewart’s second ability is Soundly Dreams. When activated, it deals large damage to the target, and if the target’s HP falls below a certain threshold, the enemy gets inflicted with Sleep. This adds another Sleep to Stewart’s arsenal, which is great for controlling certain enemy threats.

Stewart’s third ability is Time Vortex. Stewart pays part of his current HP to deal damage to one enemy. If the attack was a critical hit, he deals additional damage based on their HP, and inflicts sleep to both the enemy and Stewart himself. Afterward, if Stewart takes damage from any enemy, he activates Soundly Dreams as a counterattack.

Time Vortex is a peculiar ability that seemingly looks bad on paper, but has the potential to surprise SPD-oriented teams. Because Stewart is unable to do an action while asleep, having slower speed than the enemy assures that Stewart can counterattack before his next turn starts.

Stewart Best Relics and Resonance

All-Around Set: Hades 4-piece, Sword Avatara 2-piece

Una II: C.RATE, Una IV: ACC%/ATK%, Mui II: ATK%

Stewart’s ability to constantly apply sleep is a nightmare for teams without dispels, so having Avatara to counterattack as often as possible makes him a big pain for attacking foes. Hades should be a popular option especially with Avatara, not to mention that Stewart loses a chunk of his HP whenever he activates Time Vortex.

Resonance should be ATK%, to maximize his damage potential. If you worry about survivability, HP% can also be considered.

Conclusion

Stewart seems like a great Esper for Non-boss PvE as well as a trump card for Point War, but don’t expect him to perform as well as other fighters when dealing with Miracle dungeons. His high application of Sleep can be useful in certain parts of the Tower, but nevertheless, he’s a decent Esper for general use.
