It was a Highway Series over the weekend in Southern California between the Los Angeles Angels and Los Angeles Dodgers. Sunday's series finale was a thrill for Dodgers fans as their team won 8-2, but the ball girl was the real MVP on the day.
One fan decided to streak mid-way through the game and he surprisingly left the security guards in the dust. It's not like he was super fast or anything, but they simply couldn't catch him. Don't worry though, the Dodgers ball girl came to the rescue with an absolutely clutch move.
The fans were loving it, too. You could see the players were also intrigued with the situation. Maybe the Dodgers need to hire some new security guards? Kind of sad that the ball girl is the one who ultimately stopped the streaker. Just look at how he flipped over the wall. Hilarious stuff.
Nevertheless, it was pure entertainment for all supporters in attendance. With the victory, the Dodgers took two out of three from their LA rivals, with AJ Pollock leading the way with a 3 for 5 day. Former Angel Albert Pujols also homered against his former team while Walker Buehler was dominant, giving up just one run across six innings of work.
Give that girl a raise!
