2021 World Series MVP Jorge Soler, who came over to the Atlanta Braves at the trade deadline, is one of the more intriguing bats left on the free-agent market. After his impressive postseason, the slugger is garnering a ton of interest, with the Los Angeles Dodgers considered one of his potential suitors.

However, they are evidently facing competition for Soler, with the Red Sox, Astros, Marlins, and Rangers all keen as well. The 30-year-old struggled immensely with the Kansas City Royals in the first half of 21′ but once he came to Atlanta, Soler shined. The slugger hit .269 with 14 homers in just 55 games before absolutely going off in the playoffs. He slashed .300 in the Fall Classic with three bombs en route to MVP honors.

For the Dodgers, this would certainly be a solid signing. However, they're expected to come to terms with Freddie Freeman at some point on Saturday. It's hard to imagine them signing both guys, but it's not totally out of the question with the universal DH now in both leagues.

Soler hasn't always been the most consistent but he does possess ridiculous power. The Cuba native went deep 48 times in 2019, which led the American League. Any of these teams would be delighted to bring him in.
