Borussia Dortmund is well aware that several European giants will come calling next summer when Erling Haaland's transfer fee drops to approximately €70 million. With that in mind, the German giants are already eyeing potential replacements for the Norwegian hitman. Per 90min, BVB is considering a move for Man United outcast Anthony Martial.

The Frenchman has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford, especially following the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. He's played just 97 minutes this term in Premier League action and has failed to score a goal. A change of scenery could the best choice for Martial, with Dortmund certainly a viable option.

We've seen many players take their talents to the Bundesliga and flourish, but it typically happens when they're younger. Nevertheless, Martial is just 25 and still has many years left of football in him.

As for Haaland, he's proving to be arguably the most clinical finisher on the planet, already scoring seven goals and supplying three assists in five league appearances this season. Chelsea was extremely keen on the Dortmund hitman this past summer, but the German side was unwilling to sell their prized possession.

The likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool, and PSG are also interested in Haaland, with Los Blancos confident they can move for him and Kylian Mbappe. Dortmund will desperately miss Haaland once he does leave, but possibly, Anthony Martial could find his form in the Bundesliga and prove to be a key figure in the final third. As for now though, playing time is limited and it's pretty clear he needs to leave Manchester.
