Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers Alshon Jeffery and DeSean Jackson are both still not practicing for the team ahead of their Week 3 game against the Detroit Lions, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

It's seeming more and more likely that duo will at least be sidelined for this week's matchup, and the Eagles are certainly hoping to have them back sooner rather than later.

Jeffery is dealing with a calf injury, while Jackson has an abdominal injury. Both players were injured in the Eagles' Week 2 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, and there's no doubt that they would have had a huge impact in the outcome of that game had they been on the field.

Nelson Agholor and JJ Arcega-Whiteside are expected to step in to replace the two against the Lions, with Zach Ertz also likely to see a ton of targets from quarterback Carson Wentz. Agholor had a big game against the Falcons, and Arcega-Whiteside undoubtedly has a ton of potential.

The Eagles are a team with Super Bowl aspirations, and Jeffery and Jackson are going to be key to having that type of success this season.

Philadelphia seems to have a nice home matchup against the Lions, but Week 4 could offer a bigger challenge as Doug Pederson's squad hits the road to take on the Green Bay Packers.

How Agoholor and Arcega-Whiteside perform against the Lions will decide whether the Eagles may have the offensive firepower needed to attack what's been a much-improved Packers' defense thus far.
