The Philadelphia Eagles have reloaded their roster to make another Super Bowl. Plenty of people are big believers in the Eagles this season—including Cris Carter.

On his sports talk show First Things First on Fox, Cris Carter thinks Philadelphia is poised for another Super Bowl run. With Carson Wentz returning from injury, there is a ton of people who share the same sentiment.

Two years ago, the Eagles did the impossible and took down the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. Under center, Nick Foles led a miraculous run in the playoffs after Wentz went down with an injury.

Disturbingly, the 2018 season almost was a mirror image of the Eagles 2017 season—besides the end result. Foles helped take the reins of the offense after another Wentz injury but fell short in the NFC Divisional Round to the New Orleans Saints.

Now, Foles departed in free agency to the Jacksonville Jaguars while the team handed Wentz a four-year, $128 million contract extension. By doing that, the Eagles were putting the future of their franchise in Wentz' hands.

Aside from the injuries, Wentz has shown promise as a possible star quarterback in the league. All that he needs to do is remain healthy.

After all, the Eagles added Jordan Howard, Miles Sanders, DeSean Jackson, and J.J. Arcega Whiteside to the offense. They also improved their defense by bringing in Malik Jackson and Zach Brown.

This season, the NFC East is wide open and Philadelphia looks like the team who is ready to wear the crown as the division winner in 2019.
