The Philadelphia Eagles were able to address their shortage of power on offense by taking TCU wide receiver Jalen Reagor. They will now have a chance to form quite an explosive tandem on the outside with Reagor and wide receiver DeSean Jackson.

Like Jackson, Reagor is more than capable of taking the top off of the defense. He is admittedly looking forward to playing alongside his new teammate, via Glenn Erby of the Eagles Wire:

“I feel like we have a track team now,” Reagor recently said.

Reagor is confident that speed will kill with I'm and Jackson.

“Pairing me with D-Jack, I feel like that is going to be a scary combo,” Reagor said.

“I’m just expecting a lot of speed and a lot of wins.”

It is certainly encouraging to see that Reagor is already expecting to help lead quite a resurgence on offense. This is an Eagles' group that did not have a single player finish with more than 500 yards receiving during the 2019 campaign.

Jackson had generated plenty of hype with his return to Philadelphia and it turned out to be well-warranted after hauling in nine receptions for 159 yards and three touchdowns through the first three games. Unfortunately, his year was cut short due to a core muscle injury that landed him on injured reserve.

Reagor will now have an opportunity to help Jackson shoulder the load in the passing game for Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz. Having two speedsters to work with should certainly help to pay huge dividends. The onus will fall on the rookie to show he is capable of producing right away.
