The Philadelphia Eagles are about to get some reinforcements back very soon. According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, running back Miles Sanders and wide receiver Alshon Jeffery are both expected to make their returns to practice after Philly's bye weekend.

According to Rapoport, the Eagles expect Sanders, who went down with the injury in their Week 6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens, to make his return to practice.

The 2019 second-round pick has suffered multiple injuries throughout the year, and even missed the season opener. At the time of his injury, Sanders had been playing well, ranking fourth across the league in rushing yards with 434 on 71 rushing attempts.

Meanwhile, Alshon Jeffery has been out since the 2019 season after he suffered a Lisfranc injury. Since he has been out for so long, it will be interesting how he looks once he comes back. With Jeffery out, Travis Fulgham has emerged over the last five weeks. Meanwhile, Greg Ward has become the Eagles' leader in receptions.

Nonetheless, the Eagles have to be ecstatic to get some of their key players back. The returns are happening at just the right time, as Philadelphia prepares to fight for a spot in the postseason.

Currently holding a 3-4-1 record, the Eagles hold the no. 1 spot in their division, but is just at 9th in the NFC. More so, their schedule, especially the five-game stretch starting from Week 11, should pose plenty of challenges for the 2017 Super Bowl champs.

Philadelphia kicks off that stretch against the 5-2 Cleveland Browns, then faces the 6-1 Seattle Seahawks the following week. Then, they take on the Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints in back-to-back weeks.

Finally, in Week 15, they face the Arizona Cardinals, who have rattled off three straight wins.
