On just the second day of Euro 2020, we've already been hit with a tragic turn of events. Just before halftime between Denmark and Finland, Christian Eriksen collapsed on the pitch with essentially no one around him.

Even worse, the medical staff appeared to perform CPR on him for several minutes as if he suffered a heart attack. At this point, we don't know exactly what happened to Christian Eriksen, but it does not look good.
His Danish teammates surrounded him the entire time, with many crying. The entire stadium in Copenhagen was dead silent as they waited to see if their prized midfielder was okay. Emotional fans were seen throughout in what could be one of the scariest moments we've ever seen in football.

Prayers for Christian Eriksen. The match was suspended for the time being as the medical team took Eriksen off the pitch on a stretcher. According to reports though, the 29-year old was breathing as he exited, which is definitely a positive sign.
Eriksen is now in hospital in stable condition and appears to be doing okay as he undergoes further examinations.
