The Indiana Pacers have been around since 1967. They were in the ABA for the first nine years of its existence before joining the NBA in 1976.

The Pacers franchise has an overall record of 2,210-2,076. While the organization has zero NBA championships, it does have three ABA trophies and 26 NBA playoff appearances. The 1999-00 Indiana team led by Reggie Miller and Jalen Rose got to the NBA Finals but fell to Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers in six hard-fought games.

1976-77

The Pacers traded Darnell Hillman and a 1977 first-round pick to the New York Nets for John Williamson.

1979-80

Indiana sent Alex English and a 1980 first-round pick to the Denver Nuggets for George McGinnis.

1982-83

The Pacers dealt Clemon Johnson and a 1984 third-round pick to the Philadelphia 76ers for Russ Schoene, a 1983 first-round pick and a 1984 second-round pick.

1988-89

Indiana traded Wayman Tisdale and a 1990 second-round pick to the Sacramento Kings for LaSalle Thompson and Randy Wittman.

The Pacers also sent Herb Williams to the Dallas Mavericks for Detlef Schrempf and a 1990 second-round pick.

1996-97

Indiana dealt Vincent Askew, Eddie Johnson, a 1997 second-round pick and a 1998 second-round pick to the Denver Nuggets for Mark Jackson and LaSalle Thompson.

The Pacers also traded Jerome Allen to the Denver Nuggets for Darvin Ham.

2001-02

The Pacers sent Travis Best, Norm Richardson, Jalen Rose and a 2002 second-round pick to the Chicago Bulls for Metta World Peace (Ron Artest), Ron Mercer, Brad Miller and Kevin Ollie.

2011-12 lockout year

Indiana traded cash and a 2012 second-round pick to the Toronto Raptors for Leandro Barbosa.

2013-14

The Pacers dealt Danny Granger and a 2015 second-round pick to the Philadelphia 76ers for Lavoy Allen and Evan Turner.

2018-19

The Pacers traded cash to the Houston Rockets for Wade Baldwin, Maarty Leunen, Nik Stauskas and a 2021 second-round pick.
