The Seattle SuperSonics/Oklahoma City Thunder franchise dates back to 1967. The organization moved to Oklahoma City for the 2008-09 campaign and has been there ever since.

Overall, this franchise has a record of 2,323-1,957 in the regular season and made the playoffs 31 times. The 1978-79 Sonics are the only team in franchise history to win a title.

1968-69

The Sonics traded Al Tucker to the Cincinnati Royals for John Tresvant.

1976-77

Seattle sent Bayard Forrest to the Phoenix Suns for a 1979 second-round draft pick.

1981-82

The Sonics dealt Armond Hill and a 1982 second-round draft pick to the San Diego Clippers for Phil Smith.

1982-83

Seattle traded Ray Tolbert to the Detroit Pistons.

The Sonics acquired Steve Hawes from the Atlanta Hawks as well.

1987-88

Seattle sent Sam Vincent to the Chicago Bulls for Sedale Threatt.

1989-90

The Sonics traded Brad Sellers to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Steve Johnson.

1990-91

Seattle dealt Dale Ellis to the Milwaukee Bucks for Ricky Pierce.

The Sonics also sent Olden Polynice, a 1991 first-round draft pick and a 1994 first-round draft pick to the Los Angeles Clippers for Benoit Benjamin.

1992-93

Seattle traded Benoit Benjamin and Doug Christie to the Los Angeles Lakers for Sam Perkins.

2002-03

The Sonics dealt Desmond Mason and Gary Payton to the Milwaukee Bucks for Ray Allen, Ronald Murray, Kevin Ollie and a 2003 first-round draft pick.

Seattle also traded Kenny Anderson to the New Orleans Hornets for Elden Campbell.

2005-06

The Sonics sent Vladimir Radmanović to the Los Angeles Clippers for Chris Wilcox.

Seattle also dealt Vitaly Potapenko to the Sacramento Kings and Reggie Evans to the Denver Nuggets. The Sonics acquired Bryon Russell, Earl Watson and a 2008 second-round draft pick from the Nuggets. The team also traded Ronald Murray to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Mike Wilks.

2007-08

The Sonics sent Kurt Thomas to the San Antonio Spurs for Brent Barry, Francisco Elson and a 2009 first-round draft pick.

Seattle also traded Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Donyell Marshall and Ira Newble and acquired Adrian Griffin from the Bulls.

2008-09

The OKC Thunder sent Chris Wilcox to the New York Knicks for Malik Rose.

The Thunder also traded a 2009 first-round draft pick to the Bulls for Thabo Sefolosha.

2010-11

The Thunder dealt Jeff Green, Nenad Krstić, cash and a 2012 first-round draft pick to the Boston Celtics for Kendrick Perkins and Nate Robinson.

OKC also traded Morris Peterson and D.J. White to the Charlotte Bobcats for Nazr Mohammed.

2012-13

The Thunder sent Eric Maynor to the Portland Trail Blazers for Georgios Printezis.

OKC also dealt cash and a 2014 second-round draft pick to the New York Knicks for Ronnie Brewer.

2014-15

The Thunder traded Grant Jerrett, Kendrick Perkins, Tibor Pleiß and a 2018 first-round draft pick to the Utah Jazz for Enes Kanter and Steve Novak.

OKC also dealt Reggie Jackson to the Detroit Pistons for D.J. Augustin, Kyle Singler and a 2019 second-round draft pick.

The Thunder capped off the 2015 trade deadline by sending Ish Smith, Latavious Williams, cash and a 2015 second-round draft pick to the New Orleans Pelicans for a 2016 second-round draft pick.

2015-16

OKC traded D.J. Augustin, Steve Novak, and two 2016 second-round draft picks to the Nuggets for Randy Foye.

2016-17

The Thunder sent Joffrey Lauvergne, Anthony Morrow and Cameron Payne to the Bulls for Taj Gibson, Doug McDermott and a 2018 second-round draft pick.

2018-19

OKC traded Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot and cash to the Chicago Bulls for a 2020 second-round draft pick.
