In the days leading into Week 16 action against the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons Pro Bowl wide receiver Julio Jones has been limited in his availability on the practice field.

According to Jason Butt of The Athletic, Jones was able to take a step forward with his participation in Friday's practice that may put him on the track to play in Sunday's game.

Jones has been dealing with lingering injuries throughout the season, especially in the last few weeks, that have limited his participation in practice. However, it hasn't prevented him from being able to take the field in any capacity so far on game day, which would mark the second straight year that he has played in every regular season game.

The 29-year-old has put together another highly productive campaign where he currently ranks fourth with 100 receptions, first with 1,511 receiving yards, and first with 107.9 receiving yards per game, and six touchdowns. That includes him tallying nine 100 receiving yard performances, including three in the last five games played. He has also marked his sixth 1,000 receiving yard season and fifth straight reaching that feat. Jones has also toppled 100 catches three times and tallied more than 80 receptions in each of the last five seasons.

Jones has firmly established himself as one of the top wide receivers in the league with a strong argument of possibly being atop that list. His production has been key to providing a great amount of stability to the Falcons' offense this season, which has helped mask many of their shortcomings.

Although making the playoffs may be out of the picture, Jones has the chance to continue to add to what has been one of his most productive campaigns with the potential to notch the second-highest total of his career in receptions and receiving yards.

As it stands, Atlanta is a 3-point favorite on the road against Carolina, according to BetOnline.ag. To place a bet on the game or any others, click here and use promo code CLUTCH50 for a 50% Welcome Bonus when you signup with BetOnline.ag!
