Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones and running back Tevin Coleman have not yet officially been ruled out for the team's Week 17 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It's been far from an ideal season for the Falcons, as they were sitting at 4-9 on the year a few weeks ago before back-to-back wins against the Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers.

So, with very little to play for entering the game against the Bucs, it makes sense that the team would be cautious with injuries to both Jones and Coleman.

Here's what head coach Dan Quinn had to say during a recent radio appearance about the players' availability for Sunday, courtesy of ESPN's Vaughn McClure:

Jones has racked up 104 receptions for 1,539 yards and seven touchdowns this season, and as usual, has been the focal point of the Falcons' passing attack.

Meanwhile, Coleman has 159 carries for 755 yards and three touchdowns while also posting 31 receptions for 267 yards and five touchdowns.

Injuries have undoubtedly played a major role in Atlanta's issues throughout the year, and getting key players on both sides of the ball completely healthy will be a top priority this offseason.

There are still a lot of playmakers across the board on this current roster, so there's no need for a complete rebuild just yet despite the poor record.

Still, it is going to be an important offseason for Quinn's group as they hope to address some weaknesses so that they can get back to being an NFC title contender once again.
