The Atlanta Falcons started to make a comeback against the New Orleans Saints and used a touchdown throw by Matt Ryan to Russell Gage to begin their efforts.

Facing a 26-9 deficit, Ryan had a clean pocket and was able to allow the play to develop, which was more than enough to deliver the touchdown strike to Gage. The move that Gage made on his route freed himself up more than enough for Ryan to target him.

In the end, the Falcons fell short in their efforts despite a strong rally back. They managed to somehow recover back-to-back onside kicks but failed to turn their final possession facing a 26-18 deficit into a game-tying scoring drive.

The Falcons are now 2-8 on the season and will look to bounce back in Week 14 when they take on the Carolina Panthers at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
