Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes Demo is out now as the game approaches its full release this month of June 2022.

The Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes demo came out at the same time as the game's latest trailer – and it showcased one of the biggest reveals about the game since its announcement back in February. The new, fourth house that was introduced in the Fire Emblem: Three Houses' Cindered Shadows DLC, the Ashen Wolves, will also appear in the game. Thankfully they didn't keep this fourth house behind a DLC – we're sure that that would have caused bitter and negative reactions from fans.

Departing from the gameplay loop of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Three Hopes replaces the calm and calculated strategy game with all-out mayhem. In Three Hopes, the Musou genre is on full display, allowing players to take down throngs and throngs of enemies with just a few characters. In spite of this, we're sure that Three Hopes will still have a strong focus on narrative and storytelling, with an even stronger emphasis on character development and relationships. We're also sure that the game will feature multiple branching storylines like Three Houses, complete with a plethora of endings.

Three Hopes is just the latest in a string of Nintendo and Square Enix games that have recently received their own Musou treatment, following games like Hyrule Warriors and Dragon Quest Warriors.

We hope to hear more from Intelligent Systems, Omega Force, and Nintendo once the next Nintendo Direct arrives, but we'll definitely get a head start on our saves from release with the demo. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes comes out as a Nintendo Switch exclusive on June 24, 2022.
