The discourse around Florida State being snubbed from the College Football Playoffs has taken over the sports world and injured quarterback Jordan Travis weighed in via Twitter/X. Travis was a key piece of the Seminole's explosive offensive attack before his season-ending injury in his team's 58-13 win over North Alabama.
Travis tweeted, “Devastated. Heartbroken. In so much disbelief rn, I wish my leg broke earlier in the season so y’all could see this team is much more than the quarterback. I thought results matter. 13-0 and this roster matches up across any team in those top 4 rankings. I am so sorry. Go Noles!”
In another tweet, he showed love to the Florida State fans, saying, “Thank you to the fans for a great season. We are not done yet, and lets control what we can control. The journey has been so great, and today we are ACC champions. Let’s not let the opinions of others affect how we feel about being champions of this conference. Proud of this team”

Travis was the key piece of an adept offensive attack for the Seminoles. Before his injury, he finished the season throwing for 2,755 yards and 20 touchdowns on 63.9% completion and only 2 interceptions. Travis's play elicited Heisman trophy buzz early in the season and many believe that if he wasn't injured Florida State would've been selected.
Florida State is slated to play in the Orange Bowl against sixth-ranked defending national champion Georgia on Saturday, December 30th at 4 PM.
