It's safe to say Iga Swiatek is playing the best tennis of her life right now. The Pole collected her sixth title in a row on Saturday, beating American Coco Gauff in straight sets at the French Open final in Paris.

In the process, she won her 35th consecutive match. That tied Venus Williams for the longest streak in WTA history.

Via Jose Morgado:

Even more impressive, Swiatek didn't drop a single set at the French Open, going a perfect 18-0. Pure dominance. The 21-year-old is truly turning into a superstar right in front of our eyes and this is her second time winning it all at Roland Garros, previously doing so in 2020 as well.

Prior to capturing her second career Major, Swiatek won in Doha, Miami, Indian Wells, Stuttgart, and Rome. There truly isn't anyone on the WTA tour that can stop her right now and she'll now be looking to conquer Wimbledon next month.

Swiatek even celebrated her French Open triumph with Polish footballing legend Robert Lewandowski, who was on hand in Paris to witness history:

There aren't exactly a lot of superstar athletes in the world from Poland therefore you love to see Lewa supporting the young tennis star on her special day. As for Coco Gauff, she still has a very bright future ahead after finally making her first Grand Slam final. At just 18-years-old and freshly coming off high school graduation, the future is bright for the American, too.
