The South America and Eastern Europe Regional Qualifiers for The International 10 have concluded – with not-so-surprising results. Dota 2 teams SG e-sports and Team Spirit earned their spots in TI10, closing the door for dozens of other teams in their region.
Eastern European Team Spirit may have been a majority of the people's bet for the Dota 2 qualifiers. After all, among the teams in the Eastern Europe qualifiers, they have the most DPC points. However, there are also those who hedged their bets on the newly-reformed Natus Vincere, which reunited No[o]ne, RAMZES666, RodjER, and SoNNeikO. However, it would be Team Empire who will challenge Team Spirit in the finals, not Na`Vi. A Lower Division Dota 2 team almost qualified for TI10, which would have been the closest we could have to a cinderella run this year. But alas, it's not meant to be.

Meanwhile, South America's SG e-sports was second in line in their Dota 2 region, just behind NoPing e-sports. But NoPing would experience an early upset against Infinity, who sent them down to the lower bracket. The longer road may have exhausted NoPing, as after a couple of sweeping wins in the lower bracket, they were finally defeated by Team Unknown. Team Unknown would then head to the Finals against SG e-sports, who earlier in the bracket sent down Infinity to the lower bracket. But Team Unknown's Dota 2 career won't go further than this, at least for this year. SG e-sports defeated them 3-1 in the Finals.
