The Fade Agent Trailer formally introduces the Fade Agent in the Valorant canonical universe – showing off the Turkish Agent's repertoire.

The Fade Agent Trailer found its way on the Finals Day of the VCT Stage 01 Masters. In the trailer, a Valorant Protocol Strike Squad is seen deployed in Istanbul in an attempt to make contact and capture Fade. However, the Valorant Agents experienced fear as Fade used her Radiant Powers to exploit each agent's biggest worries and anxieties against them. However, the agents were successful in capturing her, and are able to eventually recruit her as the Valorant Protocol's twentieth agent, the newest since the introduction of Neon in version 4.0.

It appears that Fade harbored a deep hatred for the Valorant Protocol, believing that they are responsible for the disappearance of someone important in her life. Because of this belief, she started threatening various Valorant Agents and told them that if they won't be able to prove their innocence in the disappearance of that very important person, then she'll expose the Valorant Protocol to the world. This prompted the Valorant Protocol to send a strike force to Istanbul to confront her, wherein the team successfully captured and recruited her to their ranks.

The trailer's title, İYI GECELER, means “Goodnight” in English, which just makes Fade the stuff of nightmares.

Fade, the embodiment of fear, fits well in the themes of Valorant Masters – Become the Nightmare. Fade's engagement with the other agents in the trailer showed off her different abilities, showing fans what she's capable of in-game. She's a capable initiator, using her Radiant Skills to disrupt the enemy's ranks before the rest of the team goes head-on against the opponents.

Fade will arrive in the game through the version 4.08 update, which is expected to go online on April 27, 2022.
