Dataminers found a brand-new character, never-before-seen even in the beta. The character, whose name is Eula, appeared in the data mined. Genshin Impact leaks show that the character will be a cryo claymore user, and will be built as a physical DPS.

Players usually prefer to use claymore users as their primary damage-dealers in their party. As the Genshin Impact leaks reveal that Eula will be a claymore user, the character will likely follow this trend. So far, we only have one cryo claymore user, Chongyun. While Chongyun's stats are mid-tier, he paired well with other characters thanks to his element and weapon pairing. We don't know yet how Eula will differ from Chongyun, but there will definitely be similarities.

The Genshin Impact leaks indicate that Eula will not be coming out any time soon, as the character's design is still at the early stage. Other characters can still be released before her, especially since development for them are more complete than Eula at this point.

NEW INSIGHTS ON SHENHE, MIGHT STILL BE A CRYO CLAYMORE USER

MiHoYo does a great job in balancing the game, which they do by making each character as unique as possible. The data mined for Eula, however, will make it seem that there will be redundancies in future releases. Shenhe, another cryo claymore user found in data leaks, will be redundant with Eula. Therefore, speculations rose about Shenhe's development as Genshin Impact leaks revealed Eula's typing. Since Eula will also be a cryo claymore user, will Shenhe's weapon be changed?

The folks at the Baidu Tieba think so. They say that Shenhe's weapon might likely change to polearm or catalyst. However, since there have been a lot of polearm-users released recently, recalling Zhongli, Hu Tao, and Xiao, they think that Shenhe being a catalyst user might be the most likely path. Still, this doesn't eliminate the possibility that Shenhe will still have a claymore weapon. Until new leaks appear, we have no sure way to know.
