G2 Esports' owner, Carlos “ocelote” Rodríguez Santiago, shared an anecdote on Twitter about that time when Luka “Perkz” Perković drove a BMW X5 to pick him up. He narrated how Perkz' inexperience forced him to suffer the consequences and he sarcastically thanked Perkz for punishing him. He paid the authorities in order to address Perkz's overspeeding offense.

His Tweet came after Perkz departed from the club a few days ago. Some members from the community used this as an opportunity to suggest the acquisition of Martin “Rekkles” Larsson by using his IGN as a pun. After a 5-year tenure with Fnatic, Rekkles surprisingly left the organization.

Ocelote eventually replied with an open-ended Tweet, where members from the community would respond by expressing their emotions about the departure of Perkz or suggesting the arrival of Rekkles.

Hours earlier, G2 Esports published their farewell remarks to Perkz with Ocelote branding him as a legend. They even had a video tribute featuring League of Legends personalities specifically Trevor “Quickshot” Henry and Eefje “Sjokz” Depoortere who both expressed their thoughts on Perkz. Quickshot admired his impact, his competitive behavior, his ability to remain composed in pressure situations, but most importantly his unselfishness. Sjokz praised his overall performances in the midlane, branding him as one of the best in the European region.

However it didn't just end there as Ocelote kept on showing his admiration for Perkz, mentioning his work ethic as his biggest attribute.

Perkz's departure is a massive shocker in the League of Legends scene as he has been a staple of the organization since 2015. The high remarks he garnered could make him a desirable acquisition.
