Thoma and Sayu will both be getting hangout events in Genshin Impact 2.2. They will join the five initial hangout characters: Barbara, Chongyun, Diona, Bennett, and Noelle. First introduced in Genshin Impact version 1.4, hangout events give players the opportunity to get to know these characters better, as well as a chance to earn some primogems. Sayu's and Thoma's hangout events will be the first new hangout events ever since the feature was introduced.

Genshin Impact version 2.2 special program live stream revealed the inclusion of the two new hangout events. Among the new 4-Star characters in Genshin Impact introduced in Inazuma, Thoma and Sayu are among the most popular. Though they're also very good as characters themselves, they're well-liked by players thanks to their colorful personalities. Sayu resonates with a lot of players for her carefree personality. Meanwhile, Thoma's hangout will surely make some fangirls squeal. Finally, new content for the girls.

We'd still love to see more hangout events added to the game. While the feature's dating sim mechanics is partly a hit or miss, it's still fun to have the option to go out with the characters to get to know them better. On top of that is the opportunity to earn more primogems, which we surely won't say no to.
