An unintended Christmas gift from miHoYo came in the form of a new Genshin Impact leak on Thursday night. A brand-new costume will become available, allegedly, on version 2.4 of the game. This new costume will be a Ningguang Skin, and it will be coming as part of the Lantern Rite event coinciding with the Chinese New Year.

The new Genshin Impact leak has been going rounds on social media, mostly on Twitter. The oldest tweet we can find referencing a Ningguang Skin came from Twitter user @Papatronic_c. In the tweet, we see a slightly-blurry artwork of Ningguang wearing clothes that she usually doesn't wear. She wears an elegant purple dress, different from her usual orange/yellow clothing. Some users point out that this could simply be an event-related outfit that the character could wear in cutscenes, but more people are optimistic. This could definitely be a Ningguang Skin that we could get during the Lantern Rite event come version 2.4.

Just like in the version 1.6 costumes, this costume might be a free reward for completing the event activities. However, this isn't assured yet either. There is also a Keqing Skin floating around in social media, which may or may not be legitimate. Having two new skins would make sense, and one of the two may be the free reward, while the other could be a paid one you can get using Genesis Crystals.
