Ouch. To obtain the services of stud wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., the starting point is two first-round picks in the NFL Draft. That's one hell of a starting point.

Adam Schefter of ESPN had it first early Wednesday afternoon. It doesn't mean the New York Giants are actively shopping their prized offensive weapon or will ultimately move on. The two first-round selections are simply a starting point David Gettleman and the Jints have tossed out there to interested organizations.

Giants have asked for at least two first-round picks in return for Odell Beckham Jr., a league source tells ESPN, even though team insists it is not shopping him.

Doesn’t mean they get it, or close to it, or even trade OBJ. But they have asked for at least two first-round picks.

As Puff Daddy once famously uttered and used in headlines everywhere, “The Saga Continues.”

From incriminating videos to long-term contract demands to violent OBJ camp-lawsuits, the stuff Odell Beckham Jr. has faced thus far in the offseason can only be described as “too much.”

It's too much for any one individual and too much for any one organization to deal with. Owners, personnel decision-makers and even teammates have to be sick and tired of answering OBJ-related questions—despite what they may say in the public eye.

Recent reports—by way of Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News—have the Los Angeles Rams interested in obtaining Beckham Jr's services. The report even has the two teams discussing a possible deal for the three-time Pro Bowl wideout and author of one of the most breathtaking catches in NFL history.

For now, he remains Big Apple bound. Should any of the 31 organizations want to open dialogue surrounding an Odell Beckham Jr. trade, the starting point is two first-round selections and they better be in decent slot position (as it's hard to see the New York Giants starting at two “late” first-round selections).
