Adrian Peterson says Saquon Barkley can be the best RB ever
Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson is one of the greatest to ever the play game and he recognizes just how much talent New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley has. Peterson told NFL Films that Barkley has all the intangibles to be the best ever, but he doesn’t think Barkley even realizes just how good he can be.

“Oh, man. You know, tremendous ability. Great vision. Great feet. He’s like the perfect sized running back. I feel like he has great qualities and has the talent to go along with it,” Peterson told NFL Films. “God willing he stays healthy. I don’t think he realizes yet how dominant he can be.
“He has the ability to be the best back to play the game.”
These comments are a tease for the NFL Network’s top 100 players which will premiere on July 22nd. It’s unclear where exactly Barkley will be on that list, but there is no doubt it’s going to be pretty high, and he will be one of the highest rated backs.
Last year Barkley rushed 261 times for 1307 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also caught 91 passes for 721 yards and four touchdowns.-
There is no question that Barkley is a special running back but Peterson might be right about Barkley not knowing just how good he is.
If the Giants can get some better quarterback play in the next few years that also should really help his production because last year teams would just load the box to take him away. The sky is the limit for the Barkley all he needs to do is keep improving.
