With organized team activities officially in the books, there are a number of notable free agents still left on the market. Among them is former New York Giants cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

However, it appears Rodgers-Cromartie has an idea of where his next stop will be. According to Art Stapleton of the Bergen Record, he indicated that a return to New York could be in the works:

“Y’all might see me again,” Rodgers-Cromartie said.

It goes without saying that Rodgers-Cromartie is coming off a bit of a down year with the Giants. Of course, the same can be said for almost every player that was a part of the nightmare last season. However, he was one of the players that were at the forefront of the team's issues in the locker due to his several spats with former head coach Ben McAdoo.

He finished the 2017 campaign with just 48 tackles and a pass breakup. As a result, New York tried to get Rodgers-Cromartie switch up his role on the team. It started with them asking him to switch positions from cornerback to safety. This was followed up by their request for him to take a pay cut and it was not long before he was finally released from the team in early March.

Rodgers-Cromartie was optimistic about his chances on the open market at the time. However, he still has yet to find a job with training camp around the corner. That said, it will be interesting to see if he ultimately does decide to join the new regime in New York.
