It's another season to forget for the New York Giants as they are in the midst of rebuilding their roster. However, legendary linebacker Lawrence Taylor is giving disgruntled Giants fans something to cheer for while the team is barely competing in the NFL.

As part of the league's 100th season in existence, they are building an All-Time Team composed of the best players to ever take to the gridiron. There already are a couple of notable names in the list, and the NFL Network just named him as the latest candidate to make this illustrious team.

L.T. spent his entire NFL career with the Giants, giving them top-notch defense for 13 years of stellar defense. He was one of the most unstoppable pass rushers during his time, helping the Giants win two Super Bowl titles on top of his ten Pro Bowl appearances and eight All-Pro teams. His automatic inclusion to the team is a fitting nod to his incredible career and his overall contribution to the sport.

He had an incredible career, recording a total of nine sacks and 132.5 sacks. His most incredible year is easily 1986 where he sent quarterbacks to the ground a total of 20.5 times. This meant that he managed to get at least a sack every single game.

There's no question that he's one of the best linebackers to ever pad up and he thoroughly deserves the recognition he's getting. His electrifying play inspired many to line up as linebackers due to him. The Giants can only hope that they have a defender with an inkling of his talent.
