The Giants beat the Bears 30-27 at MetLife Stadium. New York was leading by a touchdown as Chicago lined up for an onside kick. The ball bounced in front of Odell Beckham Jr., who didn't dive and Daniel Brown, a tight end for the Bears, scooped the ball up and Chicago tied the game.

After the game, Beckham was asked about the play and had a good quote for Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com.

“Nobody should ever question my effort or my heart.”

This season, Beckham has been criticized for vocalizing his displeasure with the way the season has gone. New York is currently 4-8 on the season.

Last week in a game versus their division rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, Beckham was asked why the team didn’t try to exploit a banged-up Philadelphia secondary.

“That’s more of a question for coach,” Beckham told the New York Daily News. “Coming in, knowing that they struggled in the secondary, personally I would have loved to attack them. But it wasn’t in our game plan.”

Beckham's play would have drawn more ire from fans if the team wasn't able to put together a win. After this win, the Giants still haven't been officially eliminated from playoff contention, though without Beckham they likely would have been.

Beckham became the fourth wide receiver to throw multiple touchdowns in a single season, the first since Antwaan Randle-El in 2010, completing a 49-yard pass to Russell Shepard. He also caught three passes from Eli Manning, including one for a touchdown.

Beckham's first touchdown pass of the season came in Week 5 when he hit rookie running back Saquon Barkley for a 57-yard strike against the Carolina Panthers. That was the first passing TD of Beckham's career.
