Out of all of the currently injured players in the league right now no one is trying to return as soon as they can more than Saquon Barkley. After having been sidelined with an ankle sprain, Barkley has been trying to get back as fast as he humanly can for his team.

The second-year running back is supposed to be out of action for six to eight weeks and has already missed three weeks. But he's trying to get back into the fold as soon as this week and believes that the ankle will hold up return as he has “no doubt” in his mind about it.

He's determined but also frustrated in seeing himself not being out there for his team.

“I guess you can say Angry Saquon, but it's going to be more just appreciation because when you actually get the game taken away from you — don't get me wrong, I know it's not a season-ending injury, it was an injury that took me out for a couple weeks — but when you're passionate about this game and when you have to step away from it and watch your teammates go out there and you have to be in a box looking down and can't really do much for your team, makes you understand how much you actually care and appreciate this game.”

It's unclear what his status will be for week seven against the Arizona Cardinals. However, the 22-year-old back is more than willing to do whatever he can to be out there for his teammates.
