Every football fan knows how good New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley is. Opponents know it too, as shown by Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott. McDermott is preparing his team to face off against Barkley on Sunday and had a lot to say about the dynamic running back.

“I think he's an incredible player really, great quickness, great vision, great balance, very rarely do you see one guy bring him down. So it’ll be a big challenge,” The third year head coach said via Pro Football Talk.

Buffalo played against the New York Jets in Week 1, which means they faced the great Le'Veon Bell. McDermott also offered a comparison between the two running backs.

“Both (Barkley and Bell) are elite backs. Both are terrific challenges from a defensive stand point. They can control the game. Can control the flow of the game. This is a really good football team,” McDermott observed.

While comparing Bell and Barkley isn't ridiculous, calling the New York Giants a good football team is. Buffalo's defense has to be licking its lips for a chance to run opposing quarterback Eli Manning into the turf. The Giants offense struggled in Week 1, with Barkley being the lone bright spot. This comes as no surprise, as it looks like the former Penn State running back will get force-fed the football in 2019.

Barkley may be a great player, but football is a team game. Expect Sean McDermott's Bills to have their way all day against the Giants.
